Many of us know what it's like to "hit a wall." Well, I'm hittin' it and I'm going to push through. Life is the wall and I'm choosing to use running as a metaphor. The plan is to run a spring marathon and a fall ultra, specifically 50 miles.

1 body with 2 bad knees and 12 years of ass parking. But I ran a 10k race in October 2011!
1 rookie mind with inappropriate expectations of the life changing events ahead
1 hope that my enthusiasm is enough to carry me through the over 75 miles of racing I have planned
Expectations:
I will meet new people that inspire me
I will finish my first marathon
I will finish my first ultra marathon
I will be ridiculed by co workers for the excessive miles I'm running
I will see things I've never noticed while running very familiar ground
I will reconstruct my bucket list
I will have scars
